Reading and writing have always been a huge part of my life. I wrote my first story at seven, a thrilling tale about a cat doing cat things for the entertainment of my younger sister. After college, my love of language led me to a role as a marketing writer, where I learned how to position ideas, understand audience behavior, and craft messaging that drives action.
In 2020, I saw someone on social media talk about editing romance novels for indie authors, and my first thought was “damn, I want to do that.” And that’s how my lifelong love of reading evolved into editorial work.
Marketing and brand storytelling are still a big part of who I am and what I love to do, so I’ve built a career that lets me do both—I get to help brands connect with customers and help get more books and art into the world.
Today, I partner with indie publishers, authors, and corporate teams to bring strategy and story together.
I live in Madison, WI with my husband, kiddo, two dogs, and two cats. When I’m not editing or writing, I can be found reading in my favorite chair, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing my latest video game obsession.
