Line editing is where I go over your manuscript line-by-line and make suggestions to improve readability, clarity, and flow. My goal is to ensure your story shines through and doesn’t get bogged down in filler words and repetitive phrasing.

Copyediting is where I go over your manuscript with a fine-toothed comb and ensure your spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax are on point. This is where I make sure the grammar rules are all followed—or, if you choose to break a rule, this is where I document which rules are being broken and why to ensure they are broken consistently.

Proofreading is the final check. I catch typos, make sure your font and formatting are consistent—all the fiddly things at the end.
